On April 2, the Alabama High School Athletic Association announced the rosters for the 61st North-South All-Star Football Game and a pair of Enterprise offensive linemen made the cut.
The North-South football game consists of senior football stars from the previous season – 2019 in this case- that face off against one another from Cramton Bowl on July 15.
Enterprise offensive tackles Jayden Brooks and Fernando Diaz were both named to the South All-Star team. Diaz is a two-time Alabama Sports Writers Association all-state player and both he and Brooks started all 11 games for Enterprise as seniors. Diaz signed a football scholarship with Delta State in February.
The Enterprise pair join Andalusia running back Elijah McLain, defensive end Cameron Morisette and offensive lineman Jean Jones; Goshen offensive lineman Dustin McFarland and running back/receiver Bryan Galloway; and Luverne linebacker Arian Gregory as the only Wiregrass players to make the all-star game.
The South holds a 31-27-2 lead in the all-time series, which began in 1948.
