The Alabama Department of Public Health released a list of upcoming free COVID-19 testing sites in the Wiregrass this week.

The ADPH emphasizes that these testing sites are free of charge but only for those that show COVID-19 symptoms and are 65 years old or older, a healthcare worker or a person with conditions that place you at a higher risk. Examples of higher risks include diabetes, heart disease, asthma, cancer or other conditions that weaken the immune system.

On April 21 testing will be done at the Butler County Health Department in Greenville from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 350 Airport Road.

First Baptist Church in Geneva will host a testing site on Friday, April 24, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 309 South Commerce Street.

Dale County will have a testing site to be announced in the coming days on April 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Pike County will also have a testing site to be announced in the coming days on April 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Covington County Health Department in Andalusia will host a testing site on May 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 23989 Alabama Highway 55.
