Kaden Cupp announced to his school, teammates and family on Thursday, May 6, he was officially accepting an offer to walk-on as a receiver on the Troy University football team this fall.

Drew Cashin threw another no-hitter for New Brockton as the Gamecocks shut out Goshen 13-0 on April 15. The Gamecocks scored a couple of runs each in the first and second innings then put the game away with six runs in the third inning.

New Brockton grabbed the lead in the sixth inning over Highland Home and won 8-7 on March 22 despite letting the Lady Flying Squadron plate five runs in the top of the first inning and add a run each in the next two innings.

The New Brockton Gamecocks defeated Zion Chapel Friday, March 4, by a huge margin 15-1. The Gamecocks scored six runs in the first two innings and never looked back. They put the game away in six innings with 15 runs on 11 hits even though they committed four errors.

The New Brockton Lady Gamecocks opened the 2022 varsity softball season with five games in two days with the first game on Friday, Feb. 18 against Auburn. The Lady Gamecocks fell 11-7 despite outhitting Auburn 10-8 in the high scoring affair.
