According to Enterprise High School Athletic Director Trent Trawick, the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) issued a memo this week requiring changes for indoor athletic event seating.
These changes will limit the seating capacity to less than 20 percent of normal seating at indoor athletic events, including basketball and wrestling, for the time being.
EHS will handle this change by giving each basketball player four tickets for family members to use at basketball games. Family members will then be asked to bring that ticket to the game, which will allow them to purchase the ticket at the gate.
Any remaining tickets left will be made available through GoFan.co.
All spectators at games will be required to wear masks or facial coverings and maintain social distancing while attending events, as well. Failure to do so could lead to a delay in the start – or restart – of a game. EHS will also no longer be allowed a student section at basketball games.
Trawick can be reached at (334) 447-6655 or at [email protected].
