The Wiregrass-Enterprise Chapter 1807, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, will hold its monthly luncheon program at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Enterprise Country Club. Because this is a new location for the NARFE lunch program, reservations are not necessary but are strongly recommended. The guest speaker will be Debbie Grimes, facilitator of Grief Share. All federal employees, active or retired, are invited to attend the luncheon programs at the same time every fourth Thursday of the month at Enterprise Country Club. UPCOMING

The Wiregrass Master Gardener Association is having its Fall Plant Sale starting Friday, Oct. 1, through Monday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens. Admission is free. Fall is the time to plant trees, shrubs, perennials and bulbs; all of these plants and more will be available at the sale.

The Enterprise Senior Citizens Center is for anyone 60 years of age or older. There is no fee to participate in the senior center program but donations are welcomed. Art classes are offered every Tuesday from 8 until 10 a.m., and 10 a.m. until noon. Sewing classes are held on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until noon. Chair exercise classes are held on Thursdays beginning at 10 a.m. A Cake Walk will be held Monday, Sept. 20 at 19 a.m. Classes meet at 2401 Neil Metcalf Road (U.S. Highway 167 North).
