Enterprise High School Principal Brent Harrison has announced that the school’s graduation ceremony will be held on May 21 at the Performing Arts Center.
This non-traditional ceremony will see each graduate walk up to the stage at different times. Students will be allowed to bring six guests with them and attendees are asked to arrive in one vehicle and also encouraged to wear masks. Lines will be on the ground for social distancing guidelines, as well.
Seniors will walk with their families up to the stage and each family will be able to be in front of the stage to take photos and cheer on their senior when they walk across the stage.
EHS will publish a list with times for each graduate to arrive for their ceremony. Each list will encompass an hour block of time for the ceremony.
“The decision to conduct a non-traditional graduation was not easy as we have had to weigh several different factors along with advice from the State Department of Education,” Harrison said in a statement. “Ultimately, the decision to have the ceremony on May 21 was receive as what was best for every graduating senior. We look forward to recognizing each of you on Thursday, May 21.”
