Stan Sauls

Enterprise City Schools named Stan Sauls as the new Enterprise HIgh School principal on June 11.

The Enterprise City School Board unanimously approved the hiring of current Enterprise High School Assistant Principal Stan Sauls as the new EHS Principal.

Sauls replaces former principal Brent Harrison who took over the same position at Saraland High in May.

Sauls is a graduate of Elba High School and Troy University. He started his teaching career at Enterprise in 1996 before becoming a teacher at both Dothan and Prattville before returning to Enterprise as a coach and teacher at Dauphin Junior High in 2001.

From 2006 until 2012 Sauls was a teacher and coach at EHS and served as assistant principal at Enterprise Junior High from 2012 until 2014. He was assistant principal at DJHS from 2014 until 2015 and EHS assistant principal from 2015 on.

Sauls has also served as a football, baseball, soccer, tennis and basketball coach at DJHS and EHS.

“He’s an outstanding individual and he has certainly proved his administrative mettle over the last several years here as an assistant principal at one of the largest high schools in the State of Alabama,” Enterprise Superintendent Greg Faught said of Sauls. “I’ve seen him in a number of difficult situations and I can attest to his ability to persevere. I think he’s the man for the job.”
