Lori Woodham, center, was named the Daleville High School “Extra Mile Employee of the Month” for May at the Daleville Board of Education meeting May 19. Woodham, the school secretary, “came to us last summer in the middle of the craziest time in the history of my life,” said DHS Principal Josh Robertson, about COVID-pandemic created restrictions and mandates that government made the last school year. “Everybody knows her.
