The Enterprise Lady Cats basketball team earned a 56-23 win Jan. 7 against Andalusia. 

EHS had a 9-7 edge after the first quarter, and its defense surrendered just two points in the second.

The Lady Cats scored eight points to take a 17-9 advantage into the locker room at the half.

Enterprise put up 21 points in the third quarter to the Lady Bulldogs' eight for a 38-17 advantage when the fourth frame began.

The Lady Cats outscored Andalusia 15-9 in the final quarter to widen its margin of victory.

Gwen Mitchell led Enterprise with nine points, and Korynn Hill had eight.

Essence Alexander and Jeide Amos scored seven points apiece.

Wildcats lose

The Enterprise boys basketball team lost 67-55 to Andalusia.

The Bulldogs had a had an 11-8 lead after one quarter, but outscored Enterprise 16-11 in the second frame to take a 27-19 lead at halftime.

Enterprise was outscored 21-9 in the third quarter, and trailed 48-27 at the start of the fourth.

The Wildcats scored 27 points in the final frame and allowed 19, but the late offensive outburst wasn't enough for a win.

C.J. Felder led EHS with 21 points, and Mason Jordan followed with nine.
