Hubert Clinton Adams, 92, of Enterprise, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Medical Center Enterprise.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m Friday, April 12, from the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Steve Bruce and Rev. Phil Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 until 3 p.m.
Mr. Adams was born June 3, 1920 in Enterprise to the late John Mason and Mary Melvin Davis Adams. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and served as a deacon, trustee and usher. He served in the U.S. Army and lived a long and prosperous life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Adams, and 2 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Adams, Enterprise; sister, Angelyn Giambalvo (Jack), York, PA; several nieces and nephews.
