Local students earn degrees from Baylor University

Baylor University conferred degrees on more than 900 graduates during fall commencement exercises Dec. 15, 2018, in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus. 

Local students earning degrees include Lance Roger Oldorf of Enterprise, doctoral degree; and Emily Lauren Page of New Brockton, master’s degree.

Troy announces Provost’s List for Fall Semester/Term 2

Troy University announces students who have been named to the Provost’s List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year.

Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost’s List.

Local residents who made the list include:

Jessica Baumgartner, Rahman Bolaji, Edward Bryan, Ann Chambers, Pamela Cordero-Garcia, Michelle Dike, Sheldon Ford, Sherrell Hart, Vanessa Hill, Brooklynn Johnson, Emily Jones, Tiffany Kidd, Allan Krausz, Savannah Maddox, Haley McInnis, Thanh Nguyen, Kayla Pickett, Margaret Quisenberry, Erin Reynolds, Christian Schultz, Shelby Silliman, Beverly Simms, Eric Smith, Stephanie Smith, Jacob Sullivan, Lee Thorbjornsen, Emily Waters and Lauren Wolfe of Enterprise; and Tori Gainey, Megan Green, Kinsley Morgan and Michael Morris of New Brockton.

The Fall semester includes students at the Troy campus. Term 2 includes students at Troy’s campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Troy University recognizes students who completed the requirements for graduation during the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year.

Angela Drown and Zachary McCray of Enterprise, master’s degree; Joshua Baker, Paul Bower, Dixie Brown, Michelle Dike, Kylie Foor, Morgan Freese, Brianna Hamilton, Celene Hernandez, Breana Johnson, Jordan McInnis, Cassidy Mulcahy, Nicole Nunez, Kayla Pickett and Emily Waters of Enterprise, bachelor’s degree; and Jorge Aguilar Jr. of Enterprise, associate’s degree.

The Fall semester includes graduates from the Troy campus. Term 2 graduates include students at Troy’s campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery along with teaching sites outside of Alabama and online.
