People weren’t afraid of getting a little down and dirty Saturday as they competed to win cash prizes and a brand new vehicle during BamaJam Farm’s Bama Bogg competition.

The all-terrain vehicle mud bogg competition drew hundreds of people from across the state and neighboring states to race through mud as deep as two feet.

BamaJam Farm’s owner Ronnie Gilley said he’s pleased with the turnout considering they put it together in two weeks. He plans to make the competition an annual event.

For more information, including a list of winners, pick up a copy of Wednesday’s edition of The Southeast Sun.
