Enterprise Police Officer Tina Johnson, center, was recognized for going “above and beyond the call of duty,” during a Dec. 9, 2014 incident at the Enterprise Wal-Mart during which Johnson assisted a disabled shopper. Enterprise Mayor Kenneth Boswell, left, read a commendation for Johnson while Enterprise Police Chief T.D. Jones looked on. “The citizen wanted to make sure we commended you for your diligence and professionalism and kindness for helping her out on that night,” Boswell said, adding that this is the second time Johnson has received the city’s Extra Mile Award. “Tina does a great job for us,” said Jones. “She’s the true meaning behind community police.” (Photo by Michelle Mann)
