A Flatiron helicopter was called to the Enterprise Early Education Center following an accident on N. Highway 27 shortly before 6 p.m., Dec. 31.

Due to the narrow roadway on Highway 27, personnel from Enterprise Rescue Inc. transported a single person via ambulance to the EEEC, where members of the Enterprise Fire Department set up a landing zone.

The individual, who's identify has not been released, was then transported via Flatiron to Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.

Injuries do not appear to be life threatening, but information is limited at this time.

Look for an update on the accident after the New Year's holiday.
